Purpose
  • Serves as the kickoff document for the engineering notebook
  • Gives Captains a tool to organize the efforts of a large FRC team
  • Creates a process that incorporates lessons learned
  • Facilitates communication between coaches, mentors, student leaders and team members
  • Ensures teams follow a top-down design methodology
Objectives
  • Follow the engineering design process
  • Analyze game play strategies as one team (Define → Research phase)
  • Independently develop robot specs and share concepts
  • Prototype together and share findings
  • Evaluate and select separate design concepts
Instructions
  • Use worksheet as a task guide — fill in the blanks as you go
  • All changes save and sync to all users automatically
